One of the largest fertilizer producers in Asia which accounts for nearly 15% of the total Urea produced in the country. Having total installed annual production capacity of about 3.4 million MT. These plants use state-of-the-art technology from Denmark, Italy, United States and Japan.

This is a state-of-art manufacturing unit and is among the most efficient plants in the world and uses the latest technologies from KBR and Toyo Engineering Corporation, Japan.

Existing installation was having repetitive failures resulting in huge production loss and safety issues.
High Starting current of high-power motors on Gas Turbine.

Solution

After a detailed discussion on selection for suitable starting method considering starting current, power factor, capacity available in GT, overload requirements and Space in switch room, it has been decided to go for variable frequency drives with bump less synchronous transfer offering flexibility of speed regulation as well only for smooth start and stop.

We have offered a complete EPC solution having HT VFD with External Transformer, HT Motor, HT Switchboard along with other associated electrical package for meeting the site requirements.
