For meeting the site challenges, a detailed feasibility has been conducted. It was an effort of more than 5-6 years for getting the feasibility approved and order has been placed with proposed solution.

Solution implemented with following:

• It was an EPC project with total ownership of Ethan Power from feasibility, implementation, proven performance guarantee parameters to site handover.
• Solution offered with a 6.6kv HT VFD with External Transformer for 11kV motor offering maximum benefits of energy efficiency of the solution.
• Motor reconnected using Star-Delta Changeover for meeting the VFD mode as well as DOL mode of operation offering very relaxed operation for motor insulation. However, this depends upon motor condition/technical parameters but for this case star-delta was the optimum solution for ensuring long term life of motor.
• A poof room solution with fire rated specs has been designed to meet the site requirement.
• A skilled team has ensured no safety incident during entire execution.

Maximum benefits of energy efficiency have been achieved and auxiliary power consumption of plant has been reduced substantially.Complete project has been successfully handed over with contractual timelines. We have also secured a repeat order from this customer.
